It looks nice but because nothing really happens, it feels like an animation test with sound.
I did really love the sound design so I had to give it a decent score.
I created this short film as part of a competition hosted by the Venezuelan National School of Film. The prompt was 'locked up in 4 walls' so I decided to show a bit of the life of Henry, a strange chubby kid dealing with being alone separated from the world. My intention was to show how when we're alone and everything stops, in a strange way everything becomes louder, the sound of the clock ticking, the rubber duck rocking, flies flying by, etc. and a slight and constant camera zoom makes it a bit more eerie on a subconscious level! We had to keep it under 1 minute, with credits included. This was my first time actually completing a short, with proper animation and color correction and all that. I've always just gotten to the storyboard / animatic stage and then moved on to other parts of production. I'm very happy with the result, the old-film quality of it was not planned from the beginning, I learned how to do it and fell in love with the look and applied it to the short.
