I’m starting a game that’s about 33-40% creature collector.

The player should be able to choose their favorite looking creature and make it their partner. So I’ll do everything I can to offer enough options.

My approach is to make a classic version, then two variations, one “cute” and one “edgy”. After that, I’m consciously  choosing an alternative set of colors for each. These will be harder to find, think 10% instead of 1 in every 8192, I’m not trying to make players grind until they hate the game.

At the end, there will be 6 looks for each creature.
