After the great success of Bubbles Death, I decided to shot a second part. Based on the film "Deep Red" aka “Profondo Rosso” by Dario Argento, Blossom has survived and she is back. After give a speech in Townsville Hall about her promise to find the one who murdered Bubbles, she returns with Buttercup to the hotel where the murder has been committed. Blossom doesn’t know that she falls into a trap where she will be the next victim.

At the beginning, I've never planned make a trilogy. Bubbles Death was made only as a hobby, but the success was good enough to make a sequel. In this second chapter of The Death Of The Powerpuff Girls Trilogy, the killer is revealed and this film also offers a good dose of violence and density almost close to the first film. The animation is still the same, but the recreation of Argento’s classic in this film was well accepted by the audience. The fans of Cartoon Network's show gave some positive and negative gags on this film. This film became almost successful as Bubbles Death. Even this film helped to promote the new PPG series that had been aired in 2016 one month after the publishing of this short film.
