Hey everyone! This is a personal project I've been working on for about 8 months. It's the first game I've ever published so give me lots and lots of feedback!

Don't forget to try the tutorial if it's your first time!

To those of you who don't know me, I'm Kai, a young, self-taught Unity game developer. I received lots of help from educators when I was learning (shoutout to CouchFerret and Blackthornprod! tysm!!) and I want to help too! If you're learning how to program and develop games with Unity I can answer (almost) any question at all! I know how hard it can be. Send all your Unity questions, difficulties, and rage-quit moments to me at kiwi.overlord.iii@gmail.com!

this is a cool Game! Gives me old flash feels

KiwiOverlord responds:

Glad to hear you like it! It is a bit of a throwback to the style of endless arcade games :)

Unique graphic quality and all around design. Clean transitions. Excellent music used and easy controls. Fantastic work on the sound effects and making it fun,
The menu should have some intro music as it felt monotone without it. You should also add some other modes when the game is finished.

KiwiOverlord responds:

Thanks a ton! Music in the intro sounds like a great idea and I'll add it asap. There are two other "Challenge" modes which are hardcore and rapidfire, do you think I should add even more? :)

Great job with this! The gameplay is engaging and the mechanics are great. Really interesting how the platforming in difficulty level 2 changes the dynamics as well.

Is there a level progression or win state, or is it just about scoring as high as you can before dying?

If no win state, would love to see more levels / some kind of advancement related to that! Lastly, I didn't hear any audio or music in the opening screens, so that could be an extra point of polish.

KiwiOverlord responds:

Hey, glad to hear you like it! There's no win state, it's an endless arcade about highscores. If you've mastered the Normal gamemode, the "Challenge" gamemodes are for the pros ;) And yep, I'll be sure to add menu music soon!

Radical game, dude!

KiwiOverlord responds:

Thanks man, means a ton to me! :D
