It's a simple game with nice controls. Not much innovative but I liked the proposal. It would be nice to change the whole sounds of the game, they are really... annoying. 8bit is cool, the problem it's the ones you choose. A score will nicely fit in and some improvements like more enemies will make your game more addictive. Cheerz.

Dodge enemies so as not to die Weapons can drop from enemies that you can pick up w,a,s,d-move mouse-shoot shift-strafe

It's pretty good, would try to add a score, but satisfying to me.
you could reduse the friction and add a score but it is a very good game after all (if it is your first)

Boring! All your doing is shoot and shoot the enemies over and over. Not Creative!
