I really liked the intro, the scrolls, and the overall vibe. The transition into animated detailed background was great! As DextaGethood said, some jpgs kind of break the mood, but overall it shows you put a lot of effort and heart into this. Some movements were kind of choppy at the beginning but the flow grew increasingly better as the battle dragged on, curiously. Well done!

loved that transition from the scroll to the animated background! I see there was alot of effort put into this. the highlight for me was the backgrounds and how well shaded they were [with the exception of the jpeg backgrounds occasionally haha] the fight scene was great and if you make a series out of it I would watch. for the Japanese text i do wish we had some English translations for us westerners but that's fine. i await you next animation good sir

While there are some flaws, there are still great moments during the battle that were clearly well thought out and inspired. The character actions and camera angles were very creative as well! I see great things in your future.

I loved how it went from this traditional style to a more robust sort of 3d world. Nice transition there.

One thing that made me almost want to click away from your movie was the lengthy intro. I think a lot of those sequences could have been shortened, helping us get to the juicy stuff. Just a thought!

Promising short! The opening was a little perplexing, like it looked nice but didn't really give much context.

One thing that really stood out was the repetition of sound effects. Like it kept taking my focus away from the fight to hear the same sound over and over again.
