Great game! Just the right amount of challenge. The platforms are a bit exacting and slippery. I had to increase the brightness and I increased my screen size to about 170%. Nice touch with the extra challenge of gathering the light and the moving platforms. Well done!

I am glad that you enjoyed the game. I am currently trying to make controls better. Super huge thanks for playing and reviewing my game. :)

This is pretty good for a jam game. However, as others have mentioned, the controls don't feel good, and I'd also say that the level designs don't work very well for this type of game - there's a lot of jumping blindly over a gap and possibly landing in spikes. Most platformers with limited visibility I've seen tend more towards maze-like levels, which I think works better - there are spikes and hidden pits as well, but the bulk of the challenge comes from trying to find a way to the goal, not from "Oops, you died because there were spikes you couldn't see."

davidjakubec responds:

As I said before, I am thinking of changing controls, so it feels better to play. And you are right, that the game is quite dark. You can always turn up brightness, so you are able to see all of jumps, spikes and holes clearly. But I must say it is actually very good idea to have some puzzle or maze levels. Thanks a lot for this review. :)

It is a very interesting game, the title and the thumbnail attract the user a lot, the only mistake I found was that the character moves too fast and does not answer some of the jumps.

davidjakubec responds:

Honestly, after game was done for jam, i have just wanted to export it to HTML5 so i could saw how it works. But after lot of reviews, I think I am going to change the controls bit. Thank you for playing and reviewing my game. :)

Generic platformer with really sensitive controls, nothing special. I wish camera could be closer to character - everything is so small

davidjakubec responds:

Yes, you are completely right. The game was originally made in few days for game jam, so there was no time to make it super innovative. Same with camera and graphics. I wanted to have everything as simple as posible. But super huge thanks for your review and thanks for playing. :)

Interesting idea, and quite challenging.

davidjakubec responds:

I am very glad, that you liked the game. Thanks! :)
