Well, I ran into the slider puzzle glitch, and I was angry that I wouldn't be able to complete the game, but when I activated the puzzle a second time, it instantly solved itself and told me that I beat it. Does this help you to understand the glitch at all?
A few other comments: It's a decent game. I like the concept, but some of the puzzles are a little tedious. The maze is essentially 5 minutes of walking down long, slow hallways, and after taking a wrong turn, I nearly quit rather be forced to do it again. Could you increase the character's walking speed, or shrink the dimensions of the maze? If you have to lower the time limit to compensate, do it. The kitchen puzzle also annoyed me... once you have the box in the green, it's just a matter of tapping the space bar every 1-2 seconds for 30 seconds, and goes from challenging to boring. There's no reason you can't lower the time to 15-20 second, is there? Or maybe keep it at 30, but have the green area shrink a little every 7 or 8 seconds?
Don't get discouraged, it's a cool game. I don't mean to be a downer. Play with the mini-games and ask yourself if they can be improved in any way, made a little quicker, more challenging, or more interesting to the player. Channel your experience into the next project. But don't stop making games. Hold the passion.
