I ran the hell out of time on this one, so everyone was just red-inked rush-job like woah. At the time our background painting badass, Denise Magdale (voice of the wife in this short) was getting pretty swamped in this period of time in the pipeline knocking out backgrounds for Coop's Nightmare, the C&H point and click adventure game. There was a major concern about cutting costs by re-using backgrounds that have already been made from the get-go.

I was able to get a hold of the final files, and set to work making sure everything lined up and the camera wasn't on an extreme edge of the bg that exists. I was also having difficulty with designing the doctor, and Chance Kubesh helped me out by sketching up the doctor I've recreated here.

The crazy-straw sequences were incredibly fun, and the highlight for me. Not a far cry at all from some of the shenanigans experienced with Last Call. Also, because I'm a fan of Game Grumps, I had to use some Trauma Center music as temp, and it fit so well with the theme of things like sweet sweet cranberries.
