A platformer made with Godot. Get the the W to win the level, press p if you need to skip because I made a bad level or you're a coward.

Using shift to sprint seems unnecessary if you're making the skateboard a main tool of your game. The first level seemed buggy with the crouching. It was like you couldn't crawl. You could only crouch and sit there, but you could move forward by letting off crouch and hitting it again, which would fling you forward a little bit. It seemed too easy to jump off the skateboard, too. I kept dying because after I'd practice jumping using the skateboard, I'd try to clear those blades (on level 3 I think) and end up jumping off and dying. Is your plan to make a skateboard focused game? Your level design seems more like a regular platformer. I figured you'd have ramps and hills and such. I'd love to see a good skateboard game here, so maybe figure out fun ways to rotate, kickflip, hand plant, etc.

zakedodead responds:

The crouching thing is actually intentional, there's two crouch sizes and after some time you go into the bigger size to require actively crawling through tiny space. I made the small crouch last longer in the current update.

The skateboard is not the only focus of the game, it just kind of stole the show when developing levels. Hopefully the current update does something to help it not kick you off as easy.
