for something as simple as snake, having lag is impressive. Here's what I suggest: I like the optimism and fact that you tried to go above and beyond, but sometimes simple is good. adding the scoring system and fancy graphics will make it slow. The most successful snake games are usually using lines and dots and are really responsive. For what this is, i dont blame it for being slow. Try working on making the playing area smaller and try to do something more. There are countless snake games so try to do something new or creative with it and this could be promising. Good luck!

Use the arrow keys to control the snake and try to eat as many apples as possible. The game also speeds up a lite bit for each apple you eat.
Careful so that you don't collied with the walls or yourself!

Adjusted the max speed a little bit. Though, it should still be quite fast.

I can't move my snake. (This is fixed, but since this isn't really anything new it doesn't get over 3 stars.

I'm guessing it's because the game wasn't in focus. Updated the game so that it should auto-focus on the game canvas now.
