Interesting concept, though it took me a while to figure out what exactly is going on. A better explanation would be nice.
An advice, make it so it is possible to move the tiles with the arrow keys as well. It's much more comfortable to play with those for a right handed person.
I was missing a pause function as well.
Like the others said, with some polish it could be quite a fun game
