ABOUT

Pong Breaker is a game combining the game Pong and the game Breakout. The game can be played both alone or with another player in local multiplayer. Your goal in the game is to destroy all of the enemy's bricks by launching the ball at them while defending your own bricks. The game's buff system will spawn buffs with different effects. The buffs will activate if touched by the ball and, depending on their type will cause effects such as: changing the size of different objects, spawning new balls, changing player speeds and inverting controls, to benefit the one who hit the ball last (bad buffs will affect the opposite player while good ones will affect the one who hit it). The last to hit the ball can be determined by the ball's color.

Enjoy!

i like the concept, the game has cool power ups but the major idea is held back by some weird maps. in breakout the level design was built around being able to break out or in (or through) to be able to get a crazy combo by hitting a bunch of pieces. this does have cool power ups though, good a.i. plus the blocks taking multiple hits make the game slower and more boring. to add on, it should really only be 1 points games and yeah that is an option it should be THE option. also the music is pretty good and fits this neon theme, plus the ball doesn't even speed up much which was part of the challenge in breakout and later versions of pong.

I will work on adding some of your suggestions in the next update as well as new levels.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, i really appreciate it!

Nice concept and graphics! Cool Game! : )

Game-Meister responds:

Thank you very much!

So I finished all levels. Nice game, good concept. But I have some feedback.

First of all, sometimes there is a bug. Whenever the balls hit the bricks, the bricks don't break. You have to fix that.

Secondly, the AI isn't difficult enough. It's quite easy to beat the AI since it only moves in one direction, which is up and down.

Furthermore I have a suggestion. What about an online gameplay option?

Game-Meister responds:

Thank you for the feedback. Concerning the bug i will look into it and fix it soon. About the AI, did you try the other difficulty levels? (you can change it by pressing the "AI Difficulty" button). I will consider adding a higher difficulty AI in the future. About the online, I am not planning currently on adding it but I will take it into consideration. Thanks again for playing, and for the feedback and have a nice day!

I like the idea, well executed

Game-Meister responds:

Thank you!, I am glad you liked it

Mildly interesting concept, I guess it would be a midly interesting Atari experiment if made in 70s/80s.

Game-Meister responds:

Thank you for the feedback!
