For an avoidance game, the controls are poor as it feels like I'm on ice. Also, why is there such a limited view range?
The player has inertia and can't change direction instantly. That was part of the design.
Do you mean not being able to see very far? I added it so that there is an element of surprise.
Controlling the cube is pretty satisfying since it has a nice feeling of weight to it. It gets kinda boring after a while though since it never gets any more challenging. I got to 80 points and then just got kind of bored. It needs some sort of escalation. Maybe moving obstacles/jumping or something? Something akin to the Turbo-tunnel in Battletoads.
Thanks for the tip. I will keep it in mind to make it progressively difficult.
