You are adrift in the void. No star is near, and no planets.

Without fuel to make a hyperspace jump, you are resigned to death.

You will never see home again.

Or will you?

Adventure in this miniature galaxy where the player ship is a single blue pixel, the planets are small squares, and every color has a meaning. Mine metals from various desolate planets, or alternatively attack inhabited planets for their rich resources. Trade metals for fuel to jump to the next star, or collect it from the orbits of nearby gas giants.

Be careful while you are minding your own business, as space pirates and other hazards will hound you.

With a bit of luck, you might just be able to make it home.

But do you want to?

Made with PICO-8 in 72 hours for Game Zanga 2018. The theme was "MINIMALISM".

Thank you for playing!

Graphics were minimal, gameplay was anything but. My only complaint was the space klepto that kept stealing all my metal. You don't have a body, what do you need metal for? To start a band?

But seriously, loved it! You don't need uber graphics to have a fun game.

This game is cool, good progression, interesting setting, but it's kind of difficult to do anything with a spaceship so small. The pixel art looks nice, but it's kind of hard to tell what you're allowed to touch or not. The shoot function was mediocre and the spaceship was hard to control. Ok game.

Sorry, but i would say you overdone it with the minimalism. I can't even see where i am. And aiming is .. well hard without knowing what direction i'm facing. Also movement is hard to guess since there are no objects in the background for reference (am i standing still or do i still float through space?).
