It is not too bad but it gets boring after a while. There is no incentive to preserve the land not by your hut. There is no purpose for collecting berries. It would be better if you needed to feed yourself or family with them. So there is a purpose to go around and not just protect your hut, and the bulldozers do not come to your hut path much. I typed this whilst playing and only looked up like three times and there were only 1 that put my hut in any threat.
