Puzzle generator needs some work I solve it but there are always pieces left over

It's actually kind of an inventive puzzle idea. What's going on here is something like.. Sudoku, or picross. The numbers on each row point out how many blocks are supposed to be in that row, so if a "3" is on the left side like on the first level, three blocks need to be in that row horizontally to satisfy that block. Once you satisfy all the number requirements, you beat the level.

It's original, I don't think I've ever seen anything done like it before. I would strongly suggest putting an instruction screen up at the very least, perhaps a button at the main menu? It's not very obvious what the objective is from the start. It looks very nice, i've encountered no bugs, and it becomes VERY challenging.

For those confused, this is a bit like reverse minesweeper. each box represents the number of boxes that need to be fillet in the surrounding 8 squares

Seems promising, but I don't feel like spending a long time guessing at the basic rules. Write the rules out, or create a quick tutorial. Otherwise, I'm not giving it my time, to figure out if it's any fun to play.

Um, The instructions are unclear.
I mean, it looks like a good puzzle game, but the objective isn't explained or even hinted at.
