I may actually decide to draw all the sprites by hand again. I like "Cuphead's" style.
Certain parts of Mario's body are different shades from himself (e.x. His hands). This wouldn't be a problem is it was a light shade change, but it makes his hands stand out from everything else.
I have also noticed Mario's head phases in and out the world when he is doing the "pew pew" like animation.
But it is still pretty good, I love your Mario, it looks great.
Well, this was a rough draft which I drew on a light table about 10 years ago.
It does not reflect the current state of the game I'm working on.
I decided to trace the original sprites in Adobe Illustrator to make vector graphics.
I've had a very rough time these past few years, which led me to sue the government.
I'm under a lot of pressure to get this project done quickly so I've dedicated over 3 months to sitting down and creating this from scratch. My goal is to test my abilities, learn everything I can so I can create my own original content and make money.
