After a long journey, Miо̄ becomes trapped in her hotel room to reflect upon her past.
I made this short animation for my final major project of art and design foundation. It took around 3 months to make and I'm surprised I was able to pull it off. Hope you enjoy!

Great stuff! Really liked the smears... instantly reminded of The Dover Boys haha! Had a Lynchian feel too with the dream and the space imagery. The backgrounds in the dream were really cool too. Liked the pixel news. I’ll have to watch a few times to capture the meaning, but that’s what good art does 👍

An interesting flick submission you have here, Now I cant say that I have liked everything here but you really brought out some nifty and interesting aspects of this and made it much more enjoyble then I had originally expected, so for that nice work, There was no real Disinterest at all, infact I think its Unanimous that this was a welldone piece of work. A very good animation here the girl has a good story with her.

That long corridor... instant The Shining vibes. Thought some scary twin girls might pop out at any moment but... none of that hmm. Things did turn out pretty strange as soon as she opens the window though. XD Seems like something that coulld've been made for the Bad Dream jam! Really liked the music that keeps jumping back, and jumping, along with the animation, and the pixel-style news. Those scenes though... moments from her life? The trip through the case...? The door opening...? I feel like I don't catch the essence of this, the ending, or what it's really meant to convey, but otherwise I did enjoy it! Nicely animated.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. When I took the photo of the corridor I was thinking the exact same thing. It was a shame I missed out on the bad dream jam though and I wanted to mess around with something interpretive so I understand if you didn't quite catch the meaning of it. XD But all the scenes are relevant to the underlying story.
