Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of April we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 28 people to reach our goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in May!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

Some people call boxing ‘The Hurt Business’. The bright Vegas lights and the million dollar pay cheques are a distant dream for most boxers.

Climbing the ranks to the top of the world is never going to be easy, dreams can be shattered with just one punch. Just a handful of fighters will have the will and the skill to drag themselves up from the canvas and keep on fighting.

Big Shot Boxing gives you the opportunity to live out the career of a professional boxer from their debut to retirement. Choose how to train your fighter and manage their progression up the ranks. Will you build up skills and experience fighting journeymen or will you race up the ranks to challenge for the title?

Find your own fighting style, box behind the jab and counter punch or throw caution to the wind and go for the knockout!

I have max strength, yet i land 5 uppercuts and 10 jabs and hooks in a row and he doesn't get stunned yet he throws one jab and i get stunned

Every enemy is a southpaw. Immersion broken, one star!

#1 for pro title defenses
YES!

I only have one complaint with this game, and I'm not sure if this even affects anybody else, however I've noticed that if I stop playing this game for a little while (about a week or so), whenever I come back to it, I've lost all my progress. Boxers I unlocked, gone. Career points, gone. I don't know if this is the site being glitchy, my computer or a bug, but if it is the latter, do try to fix it as it's getting frustrating having to get 40 career points and the novice title every time i want to play as Ricky Cooper or winning the Pro title for some of the others. Still loved the mechanics, but this has become a bit frustrating to me. Also just as a bit of a side question, is Tony Andrizzone the only boxer who ever challenges you for extra cash, or do the others have a chance to?

I like this game and I hold a few records. The combat and the progression are fun. Also the characters and the customization are a good part, nice references too. Random events are a strong feature, they add interest to the game. The competitive leaderboards are great too. Also the stun and flash punches, I understand that they make the game feel more like real boxing and add unpredictability, but sometimes they cause negative emotions, maybe an option to turn them on and off would be nice. If the second part will be easier for the casual player, no doubt it will succeed, and the random events have potential to be perfected in the second part too. So, this is a great game and I appreciate the work you put into this and I'll be looking forward to the sequel.
