Things are heating up. I like how this mystery is actually fun to solve and the clues are actually there, which shows the writing is good. Madame Wolfe seemed legitimately szrprised, but I dunno. I think Charlie was probably telling the truth, so madame wolfe killed him to "protect herself", just like he said she often does. I'm gonna stop there because I don't wanna sound stupid to the people who have seen the end. That, and my brain hurts from thinky-thunking.

My favorite episode of this outstanding noir-series so far. Animation and sound are on the same great level as always, but the writing & dialog is especially intense in this one.

Top-notch performances from Sharon Belle and Cassandra Wladyslava in their scene, it's hard to dislike any of their characters, as shady as Madame Wolfe may be!
The storyline is perfect to keep the audience hooked for more - as I understand it, all writing AND animation is done by Maree Railton?!

Kudos, if they ever going to make an "L.A. Noire 2"-Game, make sure to send them a draft of your work before they hire someone less talented.

railtoons responds:

Thanks for the review! Yes indeed, all writing and animation is my own work. It was definitely a monumental challenge, but making an animated series has been my life goal since I was 12, and having managed to actually pull it off feels great.

Oh, and I would love to see L.A. Noire 2 happen (whether or not I'm involved)!

That confrontation didn't go how I thought it would... but what a confrontation it was! And looks like more assumptions are waiting in line, somehow seems hard to believe the Wolf would do that... looking forward to seeing how this develops! The atmosphere just keeps growing all the more brooding.
