Hero Twins seems based off those twins from the Maya culture, am I right?

This game has a fun concept with controlling two characters: one using arrow keys the other using WASD keys. i like the pixelated art style and the character designs look really good. However, this game needs some work. the enemies are very meh in terms of design. nothing really stood out with them and seemed like pixelated goombas. the menu is probably my biggest critique. there needs to be options or at the very least instructions on how to play the game. it took me a while to figure out that i controlled both characters. i also don't quite understand the story nor the world i inhabit. i think with a little more work this game could be a fine addition to Newgrounds. I hope my feedback was helpful.

Too slow and controls are floaty... needs more development.
