This is an animation made for a course using a bunch of adobe programs (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Audition for those who are curious). The idea was to animate something moving through a bunch of different multi-layered settings.
The visuals were painted with watercolour and then edited a bitski in Photoshop. They were then chucked into After Effects for animation and finally edited together with the audio in Premiere Pro.
I know the animation is, well, a bit shite, but I have an excuse and that excuse is that I hate and am bad/inexperienced at working with tween animation! Please forgib, am just rookie, no hate, etc, blegh.
Also the sound is a bit eh but sound really isn't my forte as you can probably tell if you've been on my shitty decrepit Soundcloud page.
Anyways, regardless of the many faults I hope you enjoy this lil' creation of mine.
The fish in the second era looks too much like modern ray finned fish and not something like a pre-amphibian era fish of Devonian would really look like.
The jump from unicellar life to fish was also a too huge leap compared to others, you could have showed some cnidrians or something in between.
Love it, love it, love it. The symbolism is amazing.
