Altir - is fictional world with characters who live on the ruins of an old empire. Most of the people don't know that there's a threat from followers of the Demigods - an ancient cult who's purpose is to protect the Demigods and bring them to rule above the humans again. The current events are situated in Kahrath - one of the several newly formed kingdoms after the division of the Great Empire. Kyana Antur - , a woman with unknown heritage, thief and mercenary, had spent a significant amount of her life in Kahrath. Her desire for gold and riches brought her into dangerous situation while passing through the marshes of Dourga. (depicted in issue #1 of Golds of Altir : http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/mavisrooder/golds-of-altir-dead-prince)

Issue 1 short plot synopsis : A thief mercenary is telling the false story of the death of the Dourgan's king's son. The name of the merc is Kyana Antur. It appears that she's being hired by the king's son himself to steal a golden medallion - that will grant his right to get the throne at any moment. The payment for the mercenary are not golds or jewels, but a small figurine in the shape of skull, which appears to be a key to a tomb of a demigod. According to the rumors the tombs of the demigods are full of riches and have mountains of golds inside. Kyana has the key now and her way to the golds leads her to Kahrath.

P.S. Guys - The comic is still in development. I'm working on it even right now, so that thing here should be considered as a demo .

Those of you who find the style and story appealing and don't mind of spending some cash on me can do that on my patreon account here : https://www.patreon.com/mavis -

PS I was not able to pick the right category for this file - sorry. This should be considered as a comic strip, it's not a game, or movie.

Holy shit, Dude! What program did you use for this? I love where it's going...

DaveRooder responds:

Drawn in Paint Tool SAI and then imported into FLASH. Sadly factors like : time and patience/from my side/ and interest from people are the things that reflected and affected that project. Let's say : I left it to die for good.

Good drawings.
