Introducing my new animation, "Doom & Gloom".
Meet Doom and Gloom. They're sort of friends. Doom is mischievous and always pretends to be helpful. Gloom is always depressed but hopeful in spite of Doom being Doom.
In "Happy" New Year, Gloom is depressed over how bad 2016 has been. 2017 would probably be worse. In Gloom's mind, everything has a snowball effect. Doom being Doom, seizes the opportunity to mess with Gloom by telling him that the world is going to end. Gloom being Gloom, is content with humanity's fate until he finds out the truth about Doom's cruel joke.

Well first of all I think you can go longer on this one as it's pretty funny and amazing it just seemed too short and wouldn't mind more content and much more flow of animation on this the characters are notbad but more animation is needed but I like what you have done here

at some points i thought: GO FAST ON i know you are walking or doing (and it is just a 1 and a half minut s clip...) Also i found it not that funny, it was just: HAHAHA he is not on the party, he is preparing to die, hahaha" that not funny.
Well, actually I think you missed the point. When I made the animation, it's clear that Gloom's character is intended to be a very depressed character. He's slow on everything (even the walking). Also in this particular animation, the walking scenes are crucial to indicate that:
1) Gloom just walked out of the house and started digging a grave without looking at the sky.
2) Gloom is investigating the noise (to indicate that the noise is coming from the other side of the house).
3) Gloom just realized that there's no asteroid coming to destroy earth.
Finally, I never intended for the animation to be a funny-haha kinda animation. It's a dark comedy kinda animation. Gloom didn't cry at the end because he wasn't invited to the party. He cried because he was about to bury himself alive because of a lie that Doom told him (showing that Doom was actually taking advantage of Gloom's depression). He also cried because of the fact that Doom doesn't even care if he's dead or alive.
I liked it bro. Gloom is definitely gonna follow through...or take some people with him.

Well that was a sad ending. :( I like the style and build-up, but was hoping for something more at the end there! Some overcoming the gloom, sort of. Nicely done though.

Thanks for the constructive feedback. You're right. The plot structure still needs work. It's a new series idea that I just came up with. Hopefully, I'll figure out a better plot structure and improve the character quirks for the next one.
