** Parity Update Now Live! **

All Ways Down is a simple but challenging puzzle game that was spawned out of the 72 hour game jam Ludum Dare 34 back in 2015. Since then I have updated the graphics, added new levels, mechanics and various other improvements.

The aim of the game is to guide the ball by rotating the level, whilst allowing gravity to move it. In order to complete a level the ball must grow to a certain size, this is done by collecting growth pellets which increase both the size and weight of the ball. When the ball has grown enough then the player can complete the level by hitting the goal button.

** Update 26 February 2017 **

The parity update for All Ways Down brings both the WebGL up to date with the recently released Android version of All Ways Down (available now on the Google Play store).

New features include:

* New collectables system:
Each level now contains a golden collectable.

* New level rating system:
Each level now has a rating system, where a level completion is rated based on whether the level is complete, if the player died or if the golden collectable was picked up.

* Further improved UI, including new UI animations.

And finally the ability to alter some graphical settings, such as overall quality and Vsync.

Other changes include general performance tweaks, bug fixes, new save system, level tweaks, and the combining of continuous play(Story mode) and single level play.

** Update 5 January 2017 **
* Increased pickup size.
* Increased goal detection area.
* Increased rotation speed.
* Improved various UI elements.
* Added current level number to pause + complete screen.
* Added trail effect.
* Tweaked overall game difficulty.
* Added mute button.
* Added mouse input for level rotation.

A really nice little game.

Beside things already mentioned, just a small thought:
At some point I started wondering on what level I'm currently playing. I had to quit to check out on what level I've stopped playing. Maybe add a level indicator to the pause menu?

Also sometimes it feels a bit laggy, especially in the full screen, but perhaps it's just my poor laptop.

A cool puzzle game. Unique concept kudos!

A couple things I think would have improved it :

- Maybe a suction to the end Green line when you are close by.
- Speed of gravity could be quicker
- Maybe some visual indicator of the direction of gravity
- A trail on the ball maybe ? This would help with its current direction of movement

Good game but did not load in Waterfox

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into this.

Very challenging! It would be nice if you could press R to restart.

noddingTortoise responds:

Thanks for playing, I'll try and add a restart button in the next update.

Very nice! Simple controls, but levels get challenging very quickly.

noddingTortoise responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I'll have a look over the earlier levels and see if I can tweak them slightly to ease the difficulty curve a bit.
