Great gameplay, awesome visuals, and tight controls. These are all the ingredients for a good game.
The only thing i dislike is that theres no story; and while I prefer gameplay over story, i feel like it would improve this game a lot.
Glad you had fun! Check out the steam version: armed with wings rearmed. Its got a 40 level story campaign :D
This game is epically executed. I loved every second I slashed, blocked, and dodged in this game.
So much admiration for the people behind this! <3
I absolutely love it.
Particularly, the combat. The speed gave me a rush. It also had a sense of epicness as well as smoothly executed attacks that respond quite well.
Though I do have a few complaints. First the music wasn't very fitting. Perhaps something a bit traditional would be better. I had Rurouni Kenshin The Movie theme on for the entire game. I sort of resonated with the samurai-like character I played as and the haunting landscape of the game.
Second, the hit boxes don't match the imagery. Examples include the second boss's huge flame attack and the character's mid-air special attack. Even if you don't get damage for it , at least add a little knockback to it.
I realise my complaints were far longer than my compliments but really they're just small details in a really enjoyable game.
this game is the best game I ever played in my life! .... Well, Minecraft is good too! BTW thanks for making it!
Okay, first off the graphics on your games have always been unique and cool as SHIT to look at. But the main problem I don't like is that he recovers slow after attacking, which makes you vulnerable when they start piling up on you. And his attack combos are too slow, which leaves too much space in between each attack for enemies to break your combo. You can't run the other direction directly after attacking because, like I said, his recovery is super slow. I like the blocking/dodging button though, and how when you sit still and press the block button, he will use his sword to block. But if you press block + a directional button, he dodges instead. I thought this was really smooth. Anyway, just something I thought I would share. Pretty decent game.
