It's ok. I like the idea of seting up dates between other dates. I feel there could be more done ine educational aspect - something that would teach me more about overall rise and fall of Rome rather than specific events.
My first HTML5 game but still with a lot work done in Flash thanks to the Createjs library.
This is the first in a series of educational/quiz games about history. Originally inspired by the geography learning games, where you try to pinpoint a country/city on a world map. In the end this turned out to something quite different.
We are doing at least 10-15 more timeline games this year so I hope to get some feedback from this first one that I can use in the future.
The game uses localStorage for scores and won't work if your browser is set to block third part cookies/localStorage. Uncheck or make an exception for uploads.ungrounded.net (the domain of Newgrounds iFrame content).
INSTRUCTIONS
Each card describes a historical event or era, which you should try to date as precisely as possible by clicking on the timeline below it. If you'd like a head start, we have a crash course on the game's own website
