Warning: This review may be harsh, but I am only trying to help you get better at your craft.

Not even 2 seconds into the short, and I said to myself, "The animation already looks stiff as fuck." Little did I know it was to be accompanied by some even stiffer animation, hideous art, extremely rushed plot, and some of the worst voice acting I have ever heard. I don't know who these characters are or care about what happens to them. You have to explain this stuff for the audience. There is avoiding exposition, and then there is this. You set up nothing. Everything just sort of happened. Why are there zombies? Who cares? Everybody still loves zombies, right? RIGHT?
I'm seriously trying to find something good to say about it. Umm... At least the characters do somewhat believable stuff? That's it. Everything else about this is trash. It's hideous, lazy, rushed, unoriginal, and worst of all uninteresting.
I know this review was review was harsh. There's a reason for that. As I said at the very top of this review, I want you to be good at this. This is all constructive criticism. If you still want my advice, take as long as you need to improve everything, and remake this pilot. Your standard should be that you think it's great even when you yourself are being harsh on it.
