Bleh this is pretty terrible.
First off your UI looks like it was run through a garbage disposal unit. Second your screen scrolling is like... whoa man, there are games on the fucking NES that scroll better.
Third you can only control in a diagonal angle so yuck.
And... never mind lets do this right..
Okay presentation is key you have to not just show off this half assed design when its 2016. People expect games to at least LOOK decent now a days.
Control is next, and it is pivotal game play experience, and this well... it controls like a tank playing checkers... BUT, and this is big but, the enemy AI has vastly superior moment to it. WHY!?
that sucks dude that the AI can move seamlessly in any direction it fucking feels ,and you can only do this jankey mouse click in NW, NE, SE, or SW motion. Adding to this superior ability, is it's ability to fire in any direction, no matter WHERE its facing.
That's cheap man, sure with your shield you can essentially spam fire, and move to recharge occasionally. But man that's war of attrition, not skill.
Also for some reason when you scroll down or up the Enemy's fire can just scroll down as well leading you to take a cheap ass hit.
Your Upgrade economy is fucked and doesn't do shit so it might as well not even have it.
And the over all appeal of this is next to non-existent.
It needs revamping. there is too much laziness for me not to blam it. If i had saw something that actually looked like effort, I would have given it a star but i didn't see it.
