Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 187 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Too bad

Although the options and maps available in game is theoretically a big step up from the original, the incessant crashing and freezing make it unplayable.

I don't know why you uploaded such a large and detail-oriented without any quality control options, but even when other aspects of the users' computer and internet connection are functioning perfectly well, this game crashes for no reason with no way to resolve the issue but close the game and start over. Honestly, it makes me resent the quality of the graphics even more because I know that's a significant part of what's causing the game to crash.

Like war games and this is nice.

I love the original Hex Empire. This seems deficient in several ways - the pretty graphics actually make strategic overview worse than the simple graphics of the original while the complex color-coding makes life harder too. Simultaneous movement is frustrating, it's easier to control what's going on when your enemy is standing still at the end of their turn, rather than your forces walking past each other...

Great game!
