Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This is the final version of the animation and I have to say I am happy with the style and vision but not the complete product. I ended up with a good few corrupted files and won't be able to complete them in time. I also lost all drive while animating it and completed most of the animation in the first week and then the last few days because I realised it didn't excite me enough.

I have also unlisted the original Ragdoll 2013 edition but you can watch it via the link here:

I prepared an FAQ to answer questions I got from the 2013 edition.

FAQ:

Will there be a Ragdoll Episode 2/ Ending?

Originally it was going to be a two part series however it does not excite me enough to carry on with the project.

Is the Ragdoll evil?

No the doll was possessed by one of the entities in the animation used as a device to warn the human.

Why are you remaking Ragdoll?

I wanted to do the storyline more justice with updated art and give it more depth. I soon realised after re doing the animation my heart wasn't in it anymore.

Trivia:

The child's name is Anto.

Originally in the 2013 version Anto is 10 years old. In the Remake Cut version he is 15.

Anto's hair changed from yellow to orange for the Remake Cut.

The scary guy at the end is called the beast man in folklore relevant to the universe it is set in.

The character who possesses Ragdoll also had a palette change in hair and redesigned clothing for the Remake Cut.

In scene 11 of the 2013 version Anto is missing from the bed. This was an accident :')

The bedroom in the animation is BASED off of my real room.

The original animation was created in 9 days and was completely unscripted I just animated it scene by scene with no plan or direction.

There are several easter eggs in the Remake cut version. I doubt most will see them.

Check out the composers channel he is incredibly talented and also composed the music for the original.

Thank you for viewing I appreciate all the support on both Ragdoll projects and hope you enjoyed them even with their shortcomings.

I agree with your own interpretation, your style/artwork is very good, but the whole movie (or the "complete product", as you called it) lacks a bit.

The story elements you use aren't bad but just... incomplete. As a viewer I could almost feel that your heart wasn't in this movie (or let's say you lost interest after a while). I still think that this universe you created is interesting and a second part (or a longer reboot) would work for a bigger audience, but of course you are the artist behind this and if you don't feel this way, then there is nothing I could do about it.

Thank you anyway for uploading this, and the songs from Shane Keen indeed proves that he is a talented musician. jmho.
