Vineyard Escape

Author Comments

Once again, you've managed to avoid the grim fate and escape the dark catacombs. But a new challenge lies ahead of you. You find yourself in an empty vineyard, miles away from any settlement. Find the means of transport or drown your sorrows in a shamelessly good wine.

Nice game, but there a few problems. First, why did the protagonist stop at the vineyard instead of continually paddling down the river? Did the boat sink or something? Second, why are pieces of a wheel incomplete and strewn throughout the building and its grounds? I'm pretty sure the vineyard's owner would've kept the pieces all in one place even if they did not complete a wheel and thus require some makeshift parts. Third, what's with the barrel/wall puzzles guarding a key to outside? It's not like the area is heavily guarded plus anybody who would want to go outside would have to go through a lot of trouble just to go out. Fourth, why is the hay storage's door blocked the way it is? A lock and key would've sufficed. Other than those, the story is good, the item placement is good (although the hammer is oddly placed as noted by the protagonist), the puzzles are a bit challenging (especially the barrel/wall one), and I like the fact that it's another direct sequel to the last two games, thus making a nice game overall. good job!

I wasn't really sure what I had to do in the house. After gathering half of a wheel arch, I realised that I might have to assemble a wheel. Gathering and assembling the parts weren't hard, but solving the dotted puzzle was. Hint: only the inner dots were clickable.

The way to open a small chest was unexpected. I just gave it a go and it worked. Hint: crash it.

The horse looked adorable. Of course, I managed to ride it away. c:

Good but resizing the game screen makes the game unplayable.

So, I couldn't just walk on my own two feet and had to use a horse and carriage?
Rather than just use the hammer on the box *spoiler* I had to crush it in a grape press?
Why are there pieces of a wheel scattered around the house?
I couldn't have used any other various tool to cut the rope and instead used a vintage wine bottle? LOL
Why would they hide a key in a box that cannot be opened?
How the hell did I manage to use shears to cut a steel rod?

But I digress, it's a cool game though. Short though. Dat nostalgia feel I get from the graphics.

Nicely done. Excellent graphics, logical puzzle.

Figuring out exactly where to lay the spokes is more trial and error. I can see that causing some grief to someone who otherwise understand what they have to do.

Strong escape game, though.
