This is just button mash simulator - WTF!?
Santito is as Point 'n Click as it can possibly get for a game. The object is to click on the wrestler with the "S" on their head, and that's it. It goes as long as 50 rounds, and you have 30 seconds in each round to find that wrestler. Once you do find him, it shows your current points, and then moves onto the next round when you're ready. Each round will add additional wrestlers, making it more & more difficult to find the correct one. In later rounds, you wind up being forced to click on incorrect wrestlers to reach the right one.
In the author's comments, it says the game was created in 2010, so it leads to question why is it being posted here 5 years later? In any case, Santito only has one game mode, which is frowned upon in today's standards of gaming for being "lack of content".
SCORE CHART
+10 points for each second on the clock.
-15 points for clicking on any wrestler that doesn't have an S.
- Score dips into the negative.
If you have a local friend or two, this could be fun, this could be a fun PvP competition of who could get the highest score. You'd be able to laugh about it and have a good time. But for everyone else, this game just doesn't have enough to keep a player's interest. And the thing is: this IS designed as a single player game.... and that is where the game is at it's worst!
More discovered issues....
- There is no penalty if your points dip into the negative, so you're able to just button mash all the wrestlers until you find the right one. This is bad design for a Skill game.
- Song is only a 5 second loop! Get's repetitive fast!
- The link to "MORE GAMES" doesn't work.
Aside from that, I didn't really have any issues with the sound effects or graphics. I can see where this theme is going, but it doesn't provide a whole of excitement, especially since you can button mash the "Skill" out of existence. And for today's standards, it just doesn't have enough content. It needs more game modes to stay exciting, as opposed to one. In it's current state, the game barely makes average.
Final Verdict: 5 out of 10
