From the chapter "Lessons Learnt – Observations and Failed Strategies", finding ways to distract yourself from eating is important. This game is part of a series of games that were developed to act as distractions to take your mind off eating.

Took me a few tries to figure out what exactly I need to do in the game. Its pretty challenging, but kinda gets repetitive once you get the hang of it. Some music in the background would be nice, and since faces come from all four sides, how about having a :) and :( on the left and right, too? Maybe make different faces as the game goes on? Also, thank you for both touchscreen and keyboard functionality.
And I cannot see how this is a deception-jam game.

Yes, we didn't really explain ourselves well :) We'll update the start screen to explain it better.

> Its pretty challenging
Thanks.

> Some music in the background would be nice,
Noted.

> and since faces come from all four sides, how about having a :) and :( on the left and right, too?
If you click on above, below, left or right on the screen it rotates directly, you do not have to rotate it around clockwise or anticlockwise.

We had been thinking the same, but had time constraints.
Besides this, do you have any other suggestions?

> Also, thank you for both touchscreen and keyboard functionality.
The intended distribution of all our games will be to be cross-platform and on as many platforms as practically possible.

> And I cannot see how this is a deception-jam game.
Conventional wisdom is to diet and exercise to lose weight, Richard lost the 40kg in 40 weeks without exercise, just by eating less.
So the deception part is to reveal that conventional wisdom for weight loss has been deceiving everyone ;)
Deep we know :D

I am still eating a lot though :P

It does take time. Keep at it, routine is important.
People didn't believe Richard when he said to "Just eat less", so he wrote a book about it ;)
Thanks for the feedback.

hard and fun.

Thanks for the feedback.

The mechanics are a bit to slow for the speed in which the objects are falling. Also adding a shortcut key to restart the game would be optimum, also directions on how to play would be nice. Cheers!

@SwishaSweetie Thanks for review.

We assume you mean the faces don't spin fast enough?
You can tap on the left or right hand side of screen to get it to rotate in the direction.

Noted and added to list of Rev 1 features.

Also, keeping the faces in same orientation will be include in Rev 1, it just missed the deadline that was internally set to have game published.

It's a neat game, simple and good for someone on a touchscreen. Though personally I'm not a fan.

40in40book responds:

@RIIR Thanks for the review! What would make you a fan? What kind of games do you prefer? This is the first of a of series of games that will be released, so hopefully something sparks your interest.
