Is that was a celery at the ending ? Because its really look like it XD

I love it

LightningBolt13 responds:

Yeah it was, thank you

This movie had a great mixture of motion tweens along with some frame by frame.

The black kid's tweened walk cycle can be improved upon by considering the complex joints within the body.

The foot alone has a few connecting joints; However the feet are not clearly visible on camera.

Mentioning the joints of the feet is kinda irrelevant for this movie review.

Observe how actual people walk and pay close attention to all the connecting joints in the arms, legs, feet and hands.

You can make better looking walk cycles with a bit of observation and practice.

I like the multiple camera angles utilized for this animated feature.

The sound was very subdued when compared to other movies.

You only used sound effects when they were needed instead of opting for constant noise.

Music can be effective for establishing mood; However, sometimes a more subdued soundtrack in appropriate.

The backgrounds at the playground were significantly better than the downtown area.

A lot of your buildings were mostly squares with crudely drawn doors.

Actual buildings are complex structures in a variety of shapes.

Cities and towns are very hard to draw.

Next time you visit down town.

Take some portable art supplies with you and take the time to observe the buildings.

You'll see a variety of colors along with different building structures.

I see buildings in real life that would make for beautiful backgrounds if faithfully recreated as a drawing.

Practice with drawing everyday objects in your surroundings to make improvements.

I like how you played around with pupils of the eyes to create different facial expressions.

You could also play with the shapes of the eyes themselves to really display emotion in your characters eyes.

Observe how real life people express their emotions with their face for inspiration.

People sometimes make really funny faces whenever their pissed, happy, sad, horny, hungry, ect.

Exaggeration is key for creating lively animation and expressive facial expressions.

I hope this review provides enough information to move you towards improvement.

You made a better first submission than most other people on this site.

Loved the more unique killing methods. Weird ways to die are always a plus... The animation was pretty fluid, and the soundtracked sync'ed about right.
If you're interested in more fluidity (not that it's exactly necessary hear, but it might be in the future) you can tweak things like that with higher framerates and more frames... You can also make things move quicker with simply upping the framerate a little. It's not that you need the quickest or the most fluid, but if you ever decide it's an issue, that's where you want to work.
Backgrounds were good, and of course, everything could've used a little more time spent polishing some of the little details, but every artist has their own style, and it's just as important to explore and develop your OWN style as it is to build on a repertoire of others you can mimic...

Keep on working and the details, like style, and polish and so forth will come. So, good job...

LightningBolt13 responds:

Thank you so much! A very solid response, exactly what I was looking for. It's very helpful, thank you! Yeah, I know I need to polish some stuff, I'll try and work on it.

SO GOOD THE ANIMATION!

LightningBolt13 responds:

Thank you! ^.^

Just make the animation cleaner and throw a kick ass soundtrack, it was a good laugh, thanks.

LightningBolt13 responds:

Thank you! :3
