Play as Harva, a young Leszonky, in this side scrolling platformed as she works her way across the forest freeing morphed creatures and looking for Leshy - the protector of the forest.

Part of my thesis work - A quick game and an introduction to myself to using stencyl. Hopefully in the future - a more complete and complex version of this game will make its debut! Stay tuned.

Killed by a mushroom, a flower, nothing...
Please, delete his so usefull dagger from the screen !

Not really enjoyable.

For me, it's so refreshing to find a game with a setting rooted in old Slavonic mythology and graphic style which reminds me of Eastern European animation which I loved to watch as a kid. Of course, there are few issues to be criticized, but they have been already mentioned in previous comments. Yes, a checkpoint system or a health meter seem to be necessary here, and player movement feels a bit unnatural, if that term can apply to a platform game. On the other hand, I cannot agree with commenters saying that all those mushrooms and acorns are too hard to spot. After all, the game takes place in the middle of an ancient forest and this is how you tread throw its undergrowth (hell, I still remember my forest walks and how careful I was with every step, looking for those nasty snakes).

Overall, there's much to be done, but I still like your game. An adjusted/extended version would be welcome ;-)

Thank you for your very thoughtful comment. (TBH I didn't think this many people would play my game! I was just hoping to have an easy way to share it with people I knew)

Hopefully I can work on this over the summer! TBH all my work at the moment is very starter/amateur/beginnings of something good. I really appreciate all the gentle critiques everyone, including yourself, have been providing me with!

I like this game, but I agree with some of the other reviewers about having to start over all the time with just one hit. If checkpoints are too difficult to program, perhaps you could give a number of hit points to the character, so that she wouldn't die after one hit on a mushroom or acorn (they are quite hard to see). Also, to have a way to pick up something to restore hit points. That would make this a more complete game.

i dont understand man...what are the green lines for? another thing is it would be a lot funner if the enemies could be identified better.

nice little game, but there is a glich im having, it has gliched green lines. I dont know if it's only me or not.
