They Live

Share Collapse

Circle and Triangle had a small misunderstanding and now one of them is DEAD. Bummer.

Made is only 60hrs for the Colchester Film Festival 60hr Film Challenge. Also, more than somewhat inspired by Pikachu on acid (as it's freaking amazing)

Does this have anything to do with the movie THEY LIVE?

So sad. :(

Really fucking cool. We need more stuff like this on Newgrounds.Yeah, the beginning was pretty reminiscent of the fluffy clouds from Rejected, but the rest was just relaxing fun. Loved the music, the only I gave it four stars is because I'm not too fond on the (jn my opinion) over used Adventure Timey style, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

AliensOnToast responds:

Thanks for the review man :) And I can understand the adventure time stigma. It's a VERY common style nowadays.

Wow, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the acid trip like part was... soothing, I could watch a loop of the colorful part for a long time and relax, despite the fact that's triangle's journey into the after life. Cute, but with a dark premise, I love it!

AliensOnToast responds:

Thanks man. I think the music really helped to create that atmosphere. Eagleon did a wonderful job :)

What an artistic trip across the bridge of life and.. whatever's after it! Pretty brutal premise for the plot, but that otherside venture was awesome. Slick; creative animation all the way, and contrastingly minimal black and white for the 'real world'. Could be a message in there somewhere. :P Nice work!

Btw, really thought this would have something to do with the movie with the same name.

-cd-

AliensOnToast responds:

Thanks dude :) I didn't even know that there was a movie by the same name until after I released it :/ It was a name assigned to me for the film challenge. And I agree, there's probably a message in there somewhere ;) Thanks for the review :)
