LetterSwap is a word game that takes influence from match 3 games, and word searches to create a truly unique experience. Featuring 2 ways to play, 30 puzzles, and even a free play mode to get in some letter swapping practice.

If there is enough positive reaction for the game I will make make a mobile version with around 70 more puzzles, and maybe even a new game mode or two.

I like the graphic of the falling blocks in the background of the main menu but it felt like the buttons weren't layed out well and ruined what could have been a great start up. Personally, I would have had all the buttons along one side with maybe settings in the centered at the bottom and all just in one colour.

The game play itself didn't seem like anything special and in the anagram version I got bored very quickly. I feel that this is all down to the game being quite boring visually. The game itself is okay but it completely blends in with the other word games out there. Something was needed to make it more unique.

I can't fault the programming though. Just need that little something to make it stand out.

got a board with 22 T's what the hell man

glitchs2d responds:

If you can send me a PM and let me know if that was from a fresh board or not, because an algorithm is going to have to be reworked and I need to know which one.

It's a cool concept, but when I played original mode there seems to be a dearth of useable vowels and arcade mode proved difficult to work with as well. Also, do you know if there is a way to program a detailed dictionary into the game, so that way you don't have to put all the words in yourself. I figure that with some changes to make the pace more engaging and more words applicable would go a long way towards this game. It's also very difficult; I struggled to work with the puzzles as it is difficult aligning pieces on top of finding the right words. But I think this is something that has a lot of potential. I'm going to keep at the free play, and I hope you keep improving. Best of luck!

glitchs2d responds:

Thanks, the list of words came from a few different text files that were supposed to contain "every word in the English language", but as you see it doesn't. If you have any ideas to fix the issues you have just send me a PM and I will see what I can do.

i find that there are some words that don't register. fungi, tofu, bogs are a few. a word game like this isn't any good without a complete dictionary. plays smoothly otherwise.

glitchs2d responds:

It's really hard getting every word in the English language, but I will be sure to add those words along with any others I'm notified of.
