It's a nice concept but the gameplay is repetitive, the graphics are bland, and overall the game is unpolished. With a little more time, however, it could definitely be improved!

In this game Sir Derp (the knight) wants to win the training/tournament. Your objective is to defeat all the 20 levels.
This is my very first game, so please tell me your opinion.
EDIT: Reading the reviews I thinking about rewrite the game. Since its code is a real mess and the graphic is too simple I'll start from the beginning. Please keep telling me your opinions, because I want to fix everything.
If you wonder why I released this: It's an old project, but I liked the concept and wanted to see the reviews.
I say good effort. it needs some improvement. the .5 part is for effort, the 3 is for the game itself, and the -1.5(the gray part) is that it needs some improvement.
Boring, uninspired and lacking additional elements to make it more of an actual game. Feels more like a small project done for a class rather than an actual game. This game provides no entertainment value and shouldn't even be here.
But more realistically speaking, it needs more before it should be posted for public play. Please improve by adding more efforts into animation, player incentives, and handling.
Interesting concept --- a "controls" post or something would be helpful.
Incidentally - arrows to move, c to block, x to attack.
It's ok, but the movement is rather eh. You might want to add more texture and depth in to the art, but otherwise it seems like an interesting concept. Just might need a little bit more work, that's all.
