Around The World is a driving game. The aim of the game is to drive through increasingly difficult locales, climbing up steep hills and sudden drops, collecting coins along the way! Use the coins to upgrade your car, making it easier to traverse the dangerous terrain. Some advice from us: take advantage of your boost to make those more difficult jumps!

Okay, but it could have been much better. Nostalgia clouded my vision of this game.

Nice game to begin with, then somehow becomes bugged.
-The coin hitbox decreases as levels increase, so much of the coins you go by require 3-4 passes to get. Or it's as if you only put placeholders for it.
-If you manage to get to the end while overheated, you have to reset the level, there is no way to win.

I don't usually wright reviews unless its needed.

This seems like every other game on FOG that involves cars. Get to point B without crash and/or without loosing your cargo along with the usual grind that once you're at the last level, your car is only half built with getting all the points possible without grinding a few levels to get more parts. Its nothing new, just a different car with different levels of oh I don't know, every other car "physics" game the host?

Audio Bugs:

Quite a few audio bugs where sound for pretty much everything would stop play from music, the car engine, picking up money, and finishing the level where I was glad the clicking sound was gone when I got the points at the end.

Poor Level Design:

Even after upgrading my car to its fullest, there were parts on a lot of levels where I would go up a hill and just stop from hitting a pixel high wall, that just pisses off anyone trying to get past it the first time around with little upgrades. A lot of the loops seemed to be nearly impossible no matter what upgrades you have, I've wanted to do them to see what was at the top of them but never could even with grinding to get better parts to try it again.

Graphics:

The only reason I'm giving this game a half star is because of the hot rod, I've always loved them, even if this game makes them look like shit. I am disappointed that this is just another FOG car "physics" game where you have to go to point A to point B in the slowest, unreal way possible. I know FOG doesn't create their own games, but they could have a fucking standards to not take in every cay "physics" game known to man. The next step back would be like having multiple flappy birds duplicates with the only difference between them is the color of the damn bird.

The Horrible ADs:

Oh god, this is another thing FOG likes to put everywhere so that they make a penny every time someone accidentally clicks on one. Its a pain in the ass to just click on one and go back to the game to find that you either lost or are dead. Go a head and make your money FOG, but you're just like a free to play game that you need to pay to win, you either don't pay for anything and buy a hack subscription, or see how much you actually want to play anymore when you see people flying around while looking like a helicopter killing everything.

Next Step For FOG:

Release flash games on STEAM for $20 with DLC that you need to play the other half of the game for another $20 along with advertisements between each kill, each level, and every click. Its already happened to STEAM, I'm pretty sure anyone who is older than 19 will remember a game that you had to create a virus where you infected the whole world then killed everything. I can't remember the original name of it, but go search for Plague Inc on STEAM, its $15 for a flash game with 3D rendering and I feel its the next step for FOG.

Visual Bug:

A lot of games from what I've seen that haven't had a lot of thought run though them all have this same bug with the resolution. They're always two-thirds of the size they are meant to be. It could be from my zoom level being 125% but I don't think that fully whats wrong.

TL:DR

Nothing new, go play a game that is made by someone that puts effort into the game they create and not the knock off of their older versions.

Seriously, a banner full time and a 30s commercials after every level? This alone kills it. If you made a better game you wouldn't need to be so desperate with the advertising.

Major level design issues, sluggish controls, awful load times, tons of bugs, particularly with sound and physics. This game is close to being pretty fun, but the problems are just too numerous and it needs a lot of work.

it needs a button to skip the part where it counts all the points you earn and a way to get rid of the link at the bottom would be great
