Skitzo-The Giving Season

A rare Skitzo short from 1924! This particular short was released to theaters during one of the worst times: Christmas season! as a result hundreds of children on winter break were exposed to the "The Giving Season" before authorities were able to gather and burn all the copies. Side effects from watching this short its its full form led them to taking sharp pieces of metal and slicing open their own throats then gargling and drowning from the blood as it filled their lungs. This tiny scrap was discovered in a masochist's house under the basement floors wrapped in glittery papers and dried bloody rags. He would not reveal how he came to possess such a rare piece of nitrate lost for more then 80 yrs, but after it was removed by animation archivists, he was later found dead by suicide and a note that said "Have a Merry Holiday and enjoy the show!"

Hmm, I liked the idea when you started but since feels as if the idea hasn't expanded and I am not sure if it can. The character is a cut out of so many others when it gets down to it. Sort of like somebody read too much JtHM and was trying to propose another idea for shorts. Looking at your comics, I really love the classic feel you give to some intense imagry, but think you have enough creativity to make something with more depth than interchangable everything and a character based off, "crazy guy is fine, crazy guy goes crazy, crazy guy kills stuff," as so many before him.

Comick responds:

Hahaha you are very wrong to think skitzo is just some cookie cutter psycho killer. The character has quite a built story which started in my fine art gallery paintings representing a figure in hell as the eye of perverse delights. He is not entirely mindless but hes also not entirely sane... he was created for a reason and then released to theaters with malicious intent to his viewers..well until all his cartoons were destroyed in the 1920s. These shorts are only records of his past history and I suggest reading the philosophy of my paintings or the concepts in my comic In The Dark (where we see what modern day Skitzo is doing now in Hell) to better understand the full story behind these shorts and the character himself because I assure you he's a lot more twisted then you give him credit.

Sorry man, but... I just don't like this character you've invented. I just find it slightly unimaginative and overused, the animation really seems rushed as well. Maybe that's the look you're going for, but it comes off as slightly half-assed more than it is spooky. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly not bad, I just don't think it deserves as much popularity as it's getting.
But that's just my opinion, everyone else seemed to enjoy it a guess, so well done.

Comick responds:

Much Popularity?? Lmao! You don't seem to realize that my cartoons always get out of judgment with a 2.5 at best a 3.0 while the latest pop culture parody gets the 4's and 5's and a million views. But I don't care I do my own thing and animate what I love to watch. So I'm sorry you didn't like it but the key word you said was it's a character that I INVENTED and that alone makes it all worth it.

sigh if i were one of them i would not of been on the house im not going anywhere near that bear her too much O 3 O

Comick responds:

Yeah a good rule about skitzo is to not be around him at all and if you see him...RUN

i knew that ending was going to happen but i didnt know they would show him killing everyone
