this needs a LOT of work. the controls are unresponsive at times, i cant jump when im touching a wall, and i've tried 6 times and cant even make it through the tutorial.
Cruter's Quest is a platformer game in which you play as Cruter, a boy who must go through eight challenging levels to reclaim his schoolbag. Face fearful enemies such as rats, bats, slimes, etc., avoid deadly spikes and ravines, and beat the level by reaching the exit portal!

IT SUCKS! The contols are too slippery, the story is AWFUL, The graphics are the worst thing I can imagine, and it's music goes on and on and ON
the slight delay in jumping is really hard to deal with. Also, the narrow platforms are too early. Give the player some time to get used to the mechanics
Not bad at all, and with some improvement it could even be excellent. It has a feel like classic DOS platformers.
The jumping is weird. Walls will slow you down or make you not jump as high. Probably something in your hit detection code. I recommend fixing this if you can.
There are also a few spots which require pixel-perfect precision. I really recommend against that. Try to give the player at least some amount of leeway.
For a first game, this is a really good submission, and I hope to see more. :)
