Worm themed flash. Graphics are average but could look much better overall. Gameplay suffers from poor controls. If you corrected the controls, this would be better.

It's hard to find a classic Worm game without so many frills (like poison food), so I made a very simple one.
IF KEYS DO NOT WORK, CLICK INSIDE THE GAME TO REGAIN FOCUS
Left/Right or A/D to turn
Down or S to slow down for one second (for making those tight turns)
I did add the slow down and the exploding food to keep things interesting. Feel free to suggest others.
Notbad
Well this was notbad at all the "GRAPHICS" well interface of it all could for sure use an overhaul with some sleeker visuals, the gameplay of this one was fun, I think adding some medals and achievments would really spice this game up, anyways nice work here it was fun.

The gameplay itself is great, but the interface could use some graphics! It doesn't look very professional from the start. Also, when you exit the screen it's not clear that you're not really coming back until the snake goes completely off the screen, and the textfield for the score isn't wide enough to fit any score above xx,xxx. Could use some improving, but it's a good start!

I gave a little leeway on the borders so the worm could turn without much frustration. Look out for the next version which will have a wrapping playing field and many things to make it look less...lazy. Thanks.
You say arrow keys can steer, but then they can't actually steer.
