10 second onslaught

The year is 4241...

20 years ago an alien attack wiped out all life on our home planet in UNDER 10 SECONDS. Now at last we have invented a machine to take us back to this most fateful moment.

At last comrades, it is time to change the past: send your SOLDIERS and ORDINANCE back in time to DEFEND THE MOTHERPLANET!

Use the timeline at the bottom of the screen to choose when each unit will appear on the battlefield. Use your units to defend monuments for the "hairy menace".

Protecting monuments in the past makes the future populace inspired and therefore productive: this means before resources for the war effort!

need a little more to the game. the graphics was fine.

guide . the point of the game is to last 10 seconds. well at least one statue to last 10 sec. you can buy defenders by clicking any place then selecting the one you want.

i recomend putting them all around 1 statue and spending all cash on them. then you should be fine

needs more towers and less enemys'

What the f***.

Either i didn't get the thing,
or this is just bad.

No tutorial, no indication what amount of enemies will aper from what direction.
One of the statues stands right at the edge of the screen and the first enemy wave is just a bit to big. What about an slow start ?

I give you 1 star for the idea and 1 star for the try.

Yeah, a tutorial and better feedback are definitely things I'm going to be putting in the post-compo version. Also need to zoom the view depending on the resolution as at the moment depending on the screen size you get more or less play-field to place your units in.

Unfortunately I have to keep this version "feature-frozen" for 2 weeks until the Ludum Dare voting is over. Do you think I should upload a separate version or update this one?
