Nice picture a lot of work involved but lacked any action, and use metroid prime sound track.
This is my first attempt ever at doing a speed paint. Its about 3 hours compressed into 4 minutes. Music by Pyro Paper Planes. You can find the finished image here.

I just finished playing through Metroid 2: The Return of Samus for the first time since I was a kid. A lot of people seem to think its the worst Metroid game in the series, I don’t really know that it is. Despite how linear it is I still prefer it to the NES original. Its got its fair share of quirks, Samus sprite is way too big and its not exactly incredibly hard, BUT I do really like the design of a lot of the alien sprites and despite how basic the backgrounds are I still somehow found it rather atmospheric.

Thanks for the feedback :)
I think the speed up time is actually at a perfect setting. 3 hours cut into 4 minutes was just breath taking. It's so awesome being able to see the progress on how art is executed. I truly think more artists should do concept videos of the art itself.
Thanks =D I was doing a lot more but I wasnt getting a very positive response so now I only upload them to my youtube. http://www.youtube.com/visitorsfromdreams
Metroid is still one of the best game series there is today. It's always nice to see it still inspires people to do awesome art like this. Was that alien from one of the games, because I can't remember that one? Anyways, great job. Keep em coming!
Thanks for the review, yeah, these little guys were on the walls near lava in the original game boy game.
that was fun . !!
Glad you enjoyed it mate.
Took too long to watch for such a simple picture.
Just curious as to what makes a picture simple? Is it the end result that makes a picture simple? Is it the time involved in creating it? Maybe the processes that go into it? I originally had it quicker but you couldn't see any of the processes involved in putting it together, and in my books, if you cant see how it was done then it serves no purpose. Sorry it wasn't your cup of tea.
