Mineral Rush is a game where you have to mine to find minerals, you then smelt your ores with coal. And you can buy and smith equipment to mine more efficient.
The Barbarian Paulous is jealous of your mining skills, so watch your health.
Will you ever defeat him?

*Please note that your progress will be only saved to this copy of the game. If you play on another site, your progress will not load there. Do not have the game in multiple tabs or windows. The game autosaves every 75th second.
If your temporally internet files are regularly cleaned out, you will lose progress. To avoid this you must keep a copy of the cache file on your hard drive.
All data will be lost on game update.
(I updated this game once it was out of the weekly popular list, to those who lost their game progress, I apologize.)

3 days of playing to get all medals.. i think.. in the end i popped the 3 secret medals but when i reloaded one is still secret.

anyway fun addictive game!

2500 armor seems like a lot the first time or 2 you play but when i killed paulous i had 35k bravery and 3449 armor.. and 21k mining. reason being at 2500 he was doing 5-7 dmg and killing me too quickly with the 20k or so bravery i had then. maybe coulda just pumped dmg more because it took 1k armor to reduce the minmax by 1-2.

making me get that many more stats cost you half a star.. the other half is the infrequency of the dragonstone.. i hit 5 of them in my whole game the best hit was 36 pieces. with a low variety of ores like you have making the best material super rare too sucks :P

hope you make more!

Not bad

It's a really addicting game, however there are flaws. It's pretty tiring carrying hundreds of plain stones you do nothing with, and I think the requirements for different mines are ridiculous. 250 mining skill points to go to the third mine!? and maybe it's just because i'm near the beginning, but 2500 defense points to face palous, and the gold shield gives 1 defense point... anyway, good game, yet it's bland at sometimes and requires many hours of work.

Maxiecole responds:

Thanks! Even though 2500 armor points seem ridiculous, you progress faster and faster later in the game. After a while you earn millions on a couple seconds of mining.
The reason I haven't done anything with stones yet is so people can kind of compare their progress with others. If someone has higher total points than someone with more stones, that means they have probably leveled up more wisely. (Or been lucky with dragonstone)

Overall, it shows a lot of promise and is properly addictive. The main issue is the grinding... the sheer amount of time you need to do essentially the same thing over and over again in order to make progress after a while ceases to be 'something to build anticipation' to 'a whole lot of tedium without much to show for it'. Granted, IRL mining isn't known for being exciting, but this is a game. My suggestions -- drastically lower the amount of bravery/whatever to proceed, especially to fight the barbarian. Find something to do with stone, otherwise why even bother keeping track of it since it is literally completely useless as-is. Hope it isn't too harsh, I DO think that this game is fun, but it needs to have a quicker pace.

Maxiecole responds:

Thanks for the critism. Although I disagree with lowering the bravery, I agree with the grindy part. If I were ever to update the game I'd add more "exciting" things to look forward to so it'll get less grindy. Thanks again
