Release the kraken! Very nice game but something goes wrong after defend shark, i try even 2 times and ... nothing happends after that:(. But enyway its look good and gives fun to play.

Still proud of what I achieved with the graphical look. I think I should've made the game less repetitive, and fast-tracked the difficulty curve. The sound is nice, and I think the Avatar-esque story has some legs. The power-ups were 'meh'. There was also a bug which for some reason made it impossible to get past level 7 for some people. That's too bad because the Shark Boss on the next level was one of my favourite designs. Can't even decompile the bastard to fix it, oh well.

=INSTRUCTIONS=
Click and drag anywhere on the screen to align and determine the power of the Kraken's shot. Release to eject photon particle arrow along trajectory. Experience gained through destroying enemies unlocks special powers, which can then be accessed by popping the twinkling ionic bubbles that appear randomly. Destroying bubbles allows for stacking powers.
Take care not to let the enemy kidnap your civilians. Eliminating certain enemies will increase your civ count.
Be aware that some enemies are invulnerable save for their weak spots.

lessen the addage and give better power ups and I could see myself playing this game alot.
Decent concept, middling execution. Enemies are not too interesting, and game operation is repetitive. Concept is solid, and civilian rescue adds a nice spin.
