You can change the background colour which is nice. However, the speed the snake goes right from the start makes it impossible to stay interested in playing. Perhaps change ti so the speed increases with each dot eaten?

Same old snake game, but with no speed settings/difficulty settings. Maybe different music for the different speeds. Try some slow music for the slowest setting, then some more "rock" type music for medium speed, then a form of "metal" for the hardcore speed/difficulty. Just my thoughts.

I still thought it was hard.

WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE SNAKE AND IT MOVES LIKE SNAKE, THEN ITS CERTAINLY NOT A SNAKE

The menu could be worked on a little bit and the game while to it's core simple yet effective, is a bit overplayed. Perhaps adding unique qualities such as power-ups or even enemies might add a new twist that may generate better reviews.

I would say use different music and slow down the movement of the snake as well to help make the game a bit easier to play.
