***Warning*** This game is incredibly hard. There are 17 levels. Many people cannot get past level 4. It's okay to skip levels that are too hard by using Z to access the level select screen.

Controls - Arrows to move, jump, and double-jump.
Shift - Accelerate transformation when on fire or on ice.
Z - Level select

A game made for the Experimental Gameplay Project's November/December game design competition. The theme was "temperature." This game took about 24 hours spread across seven days.

This game is about what it's like to experience huge emotional swings.

***NEW GAME+ MODE***
You can access a Twitter-integrated time trial mode by hitting Z for level select and then going to level 17. Once you beat level 17, the game will restart in New Game + mode. You can go to any level using level select and the game will time you. When you beat the level it will automatically open Twitter and prompt you to tweet your time.

a very difficult platformer, I like the idea, I recommend you add at lest a walking animation, and also a higher jump.

Its very well thought out, although i took a quick break for a second, but the Z button didnt work.

I got up to level 6, which i was about to beat.

-GRAPHICS-

The graphics were very simple, but it gave it a nice feel to the game. Although there is no walking animation(Which i would like), I did enjoy the way the player looked. Almost like it came from a drawing pad.

-SCRIPTING-

The scripting was good, but as i said before the Z button didnt appear to work.

I also think i beat level 4 in the wrong way. I was about to die in fire, but i didnt know i got wings when you get to the 4 second mark thing. So i beat it like that. I'm not sure if it was correct.

-GAMEPLAY-

As said in previous comments, it was challenging. There was no music, barely any sound effects, but it gave it a feel. Although i would prefer music, it worked well in this type of game. It was very well done. I think it could get to the front page if you made some more levels, and tweaked a few things.

Thanks for the detailed review. I can't figure out why the Z button won't work for you, I just tried it myself and it worked. Sometimes you have to let the level finish completely loading before it will work.

The levels are designed to be solved multiple ways. Usually when I play level 4 I do it the way you did because it's quicker.

Updating this game is definitely a possibility, especially since most of the changes would be cosmetic. I don't know how many people got through all 17 levels, but I suppose if many people did, I could also add more levels.

Howdy once more! this game was very hard, it took me some time to get somewhat decent at it but even after that, I got to level 10 and had to stop myself. To me, if its fun, then it doesnt matter if its hard, I enjoyed trying to "master" the elements of the game, to which i'll have to come back and try again because I find myself using that Enter button quite a bit. Once again, the graphics and mechanics threw me off at first, but i realised that this is your style and so I threw myself into the game with high hopes, and wasn't disapointed!

All in all, its fun for those that want a challenge, and fun for those finding out what a challenge is! I'll be back to work on this game some more, maybe I'll beat it then, or i'll fail miserably, either way I hope to see more of your work, sooner or later!

It was probably nice, but a little near-impossible which made me want to quit. The graphic should be more appealing so I can enjoy more and challenge more. :)

wow this is kinda good nice use of elements i love the game maybe make a second great game.
